Where Does Change Originate?
Message from Sunrah
Remain at peace, with yourself and all others. This is not the time to aggressively challenge another. Rather, this is a time to make peace, first with yourself and then with others.
We know this does not come easily to many of you at this time—yet this is the path to dissolving the struggle, the anger and the hate. We do not tell you to lie down, or act as a doormat for another’s agenda, but we do ask you to show love and compassion, even as you state your own truth. Claim your power, but seek not to have power over another.
Each of you exists in the realm of duality—a world that sees limited possibilities. If every action is deemed right or wrong, it’s not long before one runs out of options. You must change your understanding of the ‘rules of the game’, in order to move beyond the small box in which you are currently living your lives.
The world beyond is ever expanding, offering you (currently unimagined) possibilities, but you must first decide to make the choice of love and compassion, over the need to be right. Once you do, the illusion you are fighting against dissolves, ceasing a struggle that no longer supports the dualistic construct.
If you are not yet ready to show and share love in all of your interactions, we suggest you begin by focusing your energies on your own life—and that which provides you with feelings of warmth, happiness, joy, fulfillment, satisfaction, laughter, delight—any feeling that uplifts you. And then share that with another.
When you share goodwill with another, you’re creating change. Just as peace between nations can begin with a handshake, personal change can begin with sharing a kind glance.
We do not ask you to imagine the impossible, for the impossible does not exist. However, we do wish for each of you to feel your personal power uplift you, as you focus on the one part of you that you can change—your thoughts.
Your thoughts can either be as buoyant and uplifting as air bubbles, or as heavy as lead weights. We encourage you to ‘weigh’ your thoughts, choosing to create buoyant ones for the greater part of your day.
How long can you sustain thoughts that allow for feelings of contentment?
One minute, two minutes, five minutes? By engaging in this relatively simple form of play, you’re able to discover your default thought patterns. And then you’re equipped to make the changes you desire.
When you’re ready, you can raise the bar higher, seeking to feel peace and goodwill for all you meet. And then we challenge you to go higher still. There is no limit to how much love you can feel for yourself—or the rest of the world.
We urge you all to “Put a little love in your heart”.
